Andrew Person, Esq.

    Andrew Person is an associate attorney with Western Justice Associates. His practice includes environmental law, business and insurance related civil suits, and class action litigation.

    Andrew is a fifth-generation Montanan born and raised in Helena, Montana. He completed his B.A. at Gonzaga University then served as an Army officer in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. His service included Army Ranger school, year-long deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, and a combat jump onto Bashur Airfield in Northern Iraq in 2003. After leaving the military in 2006, Andrew obtained an M.S. in Foreign Service at Georgetown University and served on the staff of Senator Max Baucus as a Legislative Assistant for national security and veteran’s issues. Andrew was elected in 2014 as Representative of House District 96 (D – Missoula) and served during the 2015 legislative session. He graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2015 with High Honors. Andrew’s five years of civil litigation experience include two jury trials and a lead role in multiple cases before the Montana Supreme Court. In 2018, Andrew was selected by Super Lawyers as one of the Rising Stars in the Mountain States, which include Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, and Montana.

    When Andrew is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time outdoors – skiing, hiking, biking, running, or spending time with his wife and two-year-old son.
